Should I apply this cycle? 503, 3.64cGPA, 3.49sGPA

Hello friends,

I am a senior at an okay midwest university. I have already decided to take a gap year and will be doing either:
1) research - writing chapter summaries and working on current project + scribing
or
2) post-bacc

I am also studying to retake my MCAT which I got a 503 on because of a low verbal score.
My cumulative GPA is a 3.64 and my science GPA is a 3.49.

I would like to pursue the allopathic route. I am a California resident, Asian descent.
