I've been a long-time lurker and now, I guess, a first-time poster. Anyhow, I graduated from a top public university in California in 2016 with a B.S. in biochemistry and am a caucasian male. I was deciding whether I should apply then or take two gap years and apply in June of 2017. I ended up opting for the second option and am now currently working as a lab tech at a prestigious science university. Also, I am deciding applying between MD or MD-PhD.
