I am applying this summer as a Colorado applicant.

cGPA is 3.802, sGPA 3.7, Masters degree in biomedical science from CSU-MSB: GPA 3.702. MCAT 513 (127/128/131/127).

EC's: Multiple semesters as a TA for Human Physiology, Human Anatomy and one semester as a GTA of Human Physiology Lab, also a tutor for the school for biology, microbiology and human physiology. Supervised college teaching for a year of physiology recitation.

Worked throughout undergrad/grad school as a bagel shop...

Hello! I am a senior planning on applying to MD and DO programs this June (during gap year). I have a decent upward trend. Lots of Cs and maybe only one A in a prereq, but I okay in upper-level chemistry courses. I've been using MSAR to make this list, but I'm having trouble gauging how competitive of an applicant I am due to my low GPA. I would appreciate any help with my school list!

Thank you for reading. I am planning on applying to medical schools for next cycle.

Male, South Asian

GPA: 3.35 overall, 3.40 science
I did rather poorly for my first three years of college. Turned it around these last two years (4.0, 3.9, 3.5, 3.9, and 4.0 in around 19 credits per semester). Took lots of upper-level science courses and got mostly A's with a couple of B+s/Bs.

MCAT: 516 (128/129/130/129). Happy with this, but I think I can score 520+. I heard it's not worth it, though....

I'll keep thing short and bitter-sweet. I went to a state school for four years and took a degree in epidemiology. Graduated with a 2.5 after years of unfocused and undisciplined "work".

Decided to take half-year off to mentally re-group, and then did a post-bac at another state school for three semesters (four when you include a summer) and ended taking most of my prereqs (Chem II, Org I&II, Physics II, Cell Bio, A&P, and all the coinciding labs plus some science electives). 52 credits...

I've been delaying making one of these for some reason.. maybe I'm worried I'm being too optimistic..

So my friend has a 3.3 GPA and 3.0 sGPA, a 498 MCAT (will be taking again in few months idk when).
She has no research experience, lots of shadowing and volunteer work.

Hey guys.. looking for some good insight on my upcoming application.

I plan to apply towards the mid-end of August (yes, I know this is 'late'). I currently am at UTD and have a 3.51GPA and have not taken MCAT yet. I plan to do a summer MCAT course and take my MCAT as soon as the course ends. Once the grades come back I was going to submit my app.

I'm looking for weak spots in my medical school app and any advice to make it stronger. Feel free to deconstruct all you want.
