Hi!
I will be applying this upcoming cycle, looking to create a school list and get some suggestions.

cGPA: 4.0, sGPA: 4.0(one more semester to add in, lowest it will go is 3.9) at large, unranked state school (not from CA/NY/TX) MCAT: 520. ORM.

ECs:
3 yrs research at undergrad campus, multiple poster presentations at national conferences. No pubs currently, will likely have one in submission by the summer. Summer research at prestigious university....

Hey everybody,
I recently graduated with a 3.4 gpa (sGPA a little higher) including CC classes (low I know..), with my last 2 years at university being 3.7, 3.8, 3.95, 3.9 (upper div science heavy), and 6 CC classes spread during those summers and current gap year (with As); last 61 units of BCPM being 3.75
My MCAT is a 517 (130/128/130/129) ~95%

I understand how to use MSAR, looking at percentiles and IS/OOS trends when looking for schools to apply to, however...

Hey guys,

this is my first post on this website so I apologize if I'm doing something wrong.

I got my score yesterday and it was a 509 (130/125/127/127) which was significantly lower than my AAMC FLs (lowest being 514.) Needless to say it was (and still is) a tough pill to swallow.

I want to apply next cycle and I am really torn on whether I should retake in April/May or apply with the 509. People have been telling me mostly that the risks aren't worth the potential benefits. And...

Hey first timer here.
Currently a junior (second semester) was planning to take the mcat in may and apply(DO) after I get my scores back.
Current GPA: 3.07 cum 2.75 sGPA
Experience: shadowed MD for 2 years Shadowing 2 DO's in a couple of med clubs

Hey everyone,

I recently got back my MCAT score and was not too happy with it based off of my practice test scores. Due to the huge drop in my score, I'm not sure if I even have a chance at top tier schools so I would love any feedback in terms of schools to apply to when moving forward with this score and/or retaking the MCAT.
