Canadian looking at US DO schools.

I have a 3.45 cGPA/sGPA (after year 5+6 Final 2 years 3.9)

Wondering what my chances are to get into MD and DO schools. I took my MCAT in August 2017, and got my score back in September 2017. I decided to wait to apply early in 2018 versus applying late in 2017 cycle.

My MCAT score is a 508. 127 psych, 127 CARS, 125 Chem, 129 Bio.

My overall GPA is 3.56. (a few bad classes (B's and one C) freshman year brought this down. My junior and senior year both semesters I received a 4.0 even.

Hey so now that application season is winding down I can't help but wonder what's up with my application. I'm a re-applicant, with a major boost in MCAT and a new LOR so thought I'd have better luck this round, but not sure anymore. I am a senior at an upper tier public university with a Biology and Spanish double major. cGPA is 3.63 and MCAT 505 (but i'm retaking it in May, hope to do much better because the first time I studied, my practice exams were ~507). I think my science gpa is ~3.4

I would say I have good ECs, but I just can't figure out if I should be comfortable with my numbers or worried. Posts commonly say that a "3.5 and above" is competitive, but I still don't feel confident. Choosing schools has been tough because places with my average gpa have MCAT averages much lower than mine, but schools with my MCAT have higher gpas. If anyone has been in my position before, a little guidance would be really helpful!
